Washington, DC self-published authors will be presenting their new works. This is an event
for readers, authors, and other literary professionals.
Black
Author Showcase™ has been designed to assist authors in creating, preparing,
writing, and marketing their works. Its’ aim is to connect authors with other
literary professionals (graphic designers, copy editors, editors, reviewers,
proof readers, photographers, videographers, illustrators, etc.) and with
readers.

Authors are
considered on a "first come" basis. Presentation space is
limited. To be considered for selection, authors are advised to reserve before
September 25th.
Participating
author receives:
- A table for books and
promotional material
- A 15 minute opportunity to
describe/read from their book
- At least one interview
opportunity (local media, internet)
- Book listing on the Black
Author Showcase™ Community site, 22nd Century Press and the Black
Author Showcase™ event site
- One professional action photo
(podium/interview). Other shots will be available from the photographer.
